New grinding areas, Protty Cavern and Sycraia Underwater Ruins have been added to Black Desert Online. Unique monsters, new accessory and gold making items, and a summoned boss have been added. The new grinding areas are located in the ocean, and you can see some extraordinary underwater scenery when going to the Underwater Ruins. However, you must have a ship in order to get to the grinding areas, which some players may find very inconvenient.

Many players have been voicing concern over the new Life Skill content in Black Desert Online KR. The new Mastery systems for Life Skills have been added one by one during the updates in KR, and now players are forced to enhance their Gathering gear or suffer decreased income from Life Skill content. A new Gathering Mastery system has been added to Black Desert Online KR on July 11th. The Gathering Mastery shows how much a player has mastered gathering, and it is different from the Life Skill level; if you have higher Gathering Mastery, your chance to gather and the amount you can get will increase. You can increase your Gathering Mastery by equipping the items and accessories that were added with the latest patch.
