On July 10th, Pearl Abyss held a media showcase in Taipei, Taiwan and announced that Black Desert Mobile will be coming to Taiwan in August.
Black Desert Mobile initially launched in Korea on February 28th, 2018. Pearl Abyss had revealed the plans for global service since the official release of Black Desert Mobile, and Taiwan will be the first country.
The Black Desert IP is already popular in Taiwan. Pearl Abyss has been servicing Black Desert Online in Taiwan since January 2017 and the game has been successful since its official launch. About 100 reporters including influencers and a lot of fans came to the showcase and enjoyed watching the demo play. The demo play showed Black Desert Mobile's high-quality graphics and dynamic actions, making the anticipation for the game grow bigger.
"Taiwan is the country that gave us the inspiration of publishing the game that we developed," the president of Pearl Abyss added. "We want to thank our fans in Taiwan who supported Black Desert Online, and want them to stay with us for the first global launch of Black Desert Mobile."
Unlike in Korea where the game had 5 classes in the beginning, there will be 6 classes available when the game launches in Taiwan. The 6th and the new class will be Tamer, and the Tamer will be coming to BDM KR in the near future as well.
