Hearthstone's 35th expansion, 'Reign of the Black Empire', was revealed today (13th) at BlizzCon 2026.
In 'Reign of the Black Empire', players can encounter the powerful forms of the Old Gods, including C'Thun, N'Zoth, Y'Shaarj, and Yogg-Saron. Players will join forces with them to rule Azeroth and welcome the return of the Black Empire.
Pre-purchase products were also unveiled. First, the 'Reign of the Black Empire' Pre-Purchase Mega Bundle includes 80 expansion packs and 10 Golden packs. It also includes 1 Signature Legendary card, 'Drest'agath', 1 Golden Legendary card, 'C'Thun, Eye of the Empire', and 4 Tavern Tickets for use in Pre-Release Tavern Brawls or Arena. Additionally, the 'Eonar' Druid hero skin and card back are included.
The standard Pre-Purchase Bundle includes 60 'Reign of the Black Empire' packs and 2 random Legendary cards, along with the 'Eonar' card back.
Meanwhile, a new class, the Monk, was also revealed. The Monk is Hearthstone's 12th class and is scheduled to be added next year. Detailed information, including the Monk's unique mechanics, will be revealed sequentially as the release date approaches.
'Reign of the Black Empire' is scheduled to launch on October 21. The 'Reign of the Black Empire' Mega Bundle is currently available for pre-purchase on the official website.
