At the end of the interview, Dash asked Damonte if he, as someone who now has a few years of LCS experience under his belt, had any advice or insights to pass onto any rookies making their LCS debut in 2021. Damonte laughed before saying: "For all the new rookies: Definitely lay off of the cringe, cocky comments. It's pretty weird if you come into the LCS not proven at all and ****-talk everyone...probably prove yourself before saying stuff like that."

UPDATE 11/6: 100 Thieves has confirmed its acquisition of a franchise spot in the Call of Duty League and the founding of its team Los Angeles Thieves. The LA Thieves now has its own Twitter account which was used to announce the team with an accompanying video.

Coming into Week 9 of the LCS Summer Split, not a single team was eliminated from the Playoffs, with 100 Thieves, CLG, Dignitas, and Immortals all vying for the final two spots. Dignitas secured it with a tiebreaker victory, and complete the playoff bracket. Read more on the LCS playoffs here:
The three teams not qualified for the LCS Summer Playoffs — Counter Logic Gaming, Immortals, and Dignitas — have only one spot to fight over, and because of changes to the season format for the 2020 LCS that removed the LCS Regional Final, the two teams who fail to secure the post-season seed will see their seasons end with the Summer Split.
