Interview with Sangyoon from Hanwha Life Esports: "I don’t think the LCK’s results for this season weren’t good because it was weak"
It's now December, the final month of the year, and the trading window is in its last stage. Most of the teams have completed their team rosters and coach lineups, and have started their preparation for the upcoming year. During the stove league, we interviewed several players who will be facing new challenges with new teams, one of them being Sang-Yun “Sangyoon” Gwon, who successfully managed to renew his contract with Hanwha Life Esports. Hanwha Life Esports made some significant change to its lineup during the hot stove league. Among their top, jungle, and mid laners, the only player that got to stay was Tae-Hoon “Lava” Kim. On the other hand, all 4 bot laners, including the sub-members, got to stay. Hanwha completed their 10-man roster before any other teams could and began their preparation for 2019. Now Sangyoon, who has been with Hanwha Life Esports for 3 years now (including his time with the old ROX Tigers), will be entering the LCK with new teammates.

For professional players, the fate of their careers is decided when November rolls around. The possibility of retirement, transferring, and contract renewals permeate the air. Alongside this, there are also others things to consider. The most uncertain age for a professional gamer is their mid-20s. Although it is a period past most players' prime, it is also when they display the greatest degree of experience and wisdom in their plays. Because of all this, Deft is in peril. When he announced his return to Korea in 2016, Deft had clarified that he was on borrowed time. Within his 2 years in KT, he was able to win the LCK. The thought of leaving Korea was daunting and unfortunate. Hence why Deft became more careful. If he were to leave Korea now, he may not be granted another chance to play in the LCK. As a result, the only choice Deft had was to continue his career on the domestic stage. Even with the offer of a million US dollars, Deft did not leave.

When the task of reworking Stitches was handed to the development team and Crawford, they had a pretty good idea where to start and the issues he currently experienced. This was not the overhaul that Sylvannas recently experienced as his fundamental kit was made well enough back in the day that he just needed more things to do when waiting for his 16-second cooldown to expire on his Hook ability.

When the opportunity to rework one of Blizzard’s most famous or infamous characters (depending on who you’re asking), Sylvanas, was placed on the plate of Jackson, his mind immediately went to work. A high-level player himself, Jackson knew the task of turning a hero into an assassin was no easy task and the pressure was on. Unlike the rework Stitches recently received, this was not just tweaking a few abilities and having her play the same but have some quality of life adjustments. This was an overhaul and in preparation for this rework, changes were made back in April.
