[LoL Asian Games] Interview With Team Korea: "Although the playing environment of this Asian Games was poor compared to Riot-hosted events, we simply lost due to our poor performance."

The silver medalists, Korea, thanked their fans for cheering for them despite their loss.

In the Finals of the Jakarta Palembang 2018 Asian Games League of Legends esports demonstrative event, Korea lost to China 1-3. Korea fought hard until the very end but their struggle was not enough to stop China's ace player, Uzi.

After the match, the Korean representatives couldn't hide their emotions. Throughout the duration of the entire post-match interview, the players didn't know where to look. All they could say was "I'm sorry." In response to a question directed to the reason of their loss, they all responded: "we lost because we performed poorly."

"Although we were a team composed of players from different teams, I believe our team synergy wasn't too bad," said Score. He further added that the cause of the loss was that they made too many mistakes during the series. Faker then added, "Although the playing environment of this Asian Games was poor compared to Riot-hosted events, we simply lost due to our poor performance."

The faces of the Korean representatives were gloomy, but they didn't forget to thank the fans who were with them until the very end. "I'm both truly thankful and sorry for all the fans who cheered us on until the very end," said Peanut.

Ruler then shed a tear. "I feel that I weighed down the Korean national team throughout the duration of the entire event. I'm extremely sorry for all the fans who cheered for us," he said.
