T1 confirmed their spot in the quarterfinals at the 2026 LoL World Championship (Worlds), becoming the third team to do so following Gen.G Esports and Dplus KIA. In Round 4, held on October 29 KST, T1 secured a clean 2-0 victory over Movistar KOI (MKOI) to reach three wins.
The main battleground of Game 2 was the mid lane. 'Keria' Ryu Min-seok's Karma ambushed mid at an unexpected moment to take down 'Jojopyun's Viktor for First Blood. Starting with a trade initiated by 'Faker' Lee Sang-hyeok's Orianna, a mutual kill occurred, and Syndra fell to a three-man gank from MKOI, leaving both mid laners with two deaths each. From that point on, it was T1 that took a step ahead.
T1 began pulling ahead by scoring kills in the bot and top lanes rather than mid. In a lane-swap scenario, 'Peyz' Kim Su-hwan's Jhin and Karma executed a dive kill on 'Myrwn's Ornn, and Karma immediately roamed top to join 'Doran' Choi Hyeon-joon's Gwen in cutting down 'Elyoya's Xin Zhao, who had invaded the jungle. Following up with a chase, T1 caught MKOI's bot duo as well, securing a massive haul of kills.
Having surrendered the momentum, MKOI attempted to turn the tides in a teamfight by bursting down the Dragon, but it failed to yield results. 'Oner' Mun Hyeon-jun's Jarvan IV successfully stole the Dragon, and the subsequent skirmish ended in a 1-for-1 trade. Having firmly established control, T1 continued winning fight after fight, pulling ahead by over 5,000 global gold. This gap eventually led to a clean Ace during the third Dragon teamfight.
Reaching a 10,000 gold lead, T1 applied pressure across all lanes simultaneously. Although their main group gave up three deaths after accepting a fight initiated by the enemy while outnumbered, it did nothing to shift the overall momentum. Ultimately, after scoring another Ace in a head-on mid lane teamfight, T1 marched straight into the enemy base to seal the victory.
