Poncle, the developer of Vampire Survivors, has unveiled 'Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivathon.' The game blends the signature bullet-hell gameplay of the Vampire Survivors series with survival royale mechanics.
Announced on the 9th by SHUEISHA GAMES and Poncle, the new title 'Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivathon' is an action game set in the world of the popular manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. Poncle is the studio that pioneered the 'Vampire Survivors-like' genre, often called bullet-hell, with the success of Vampire Survivors. This new title applies that unique formula to the Jujutsu Kaisen IP.
Players must fend off endless waves of cursed spirits. This is combined with a survival royale structure where up to eight players compete on the same field. Players can choose from over 20 Jujutsu Kaisen characters, each with their own unique skills and playstyles. Additionally, 'Rule Additions' allow for gameplay modifiers that ensure a fresh experience in every match.
A unique feature is the final showdown: after competing for rankings, the top two players face off in a 1-on-1 duel to determine the winner. Players can enjoy the game solo against the CPU, and online multiplayer is also supported.
Scheduled for release in 2026, further details regarding the specific launch date for Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivathon will be announced at a later time.
