ArcheAge Chronicles hit No. 1 on the Top Demos chart on the opening day of Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition.
XLGAMES announced the achievement on October 20. According to the company, ArcheAge Chronicles reached the top spot on both the Trending Upcoming and Top Demos charts on the event page early in the morning of October 20 (KST). Thousands of new game demos from around the world are being showcased in this October 2026 edition.
In the demo, players can experience combat and story content across four classes—Battlerage, Archery, Defense, and Sorcery—in the Shining Coast, an early region of Auroria. The build adds a new dungeon, Throne of Hinon, and debuting PvP content on top of the features previously shown during the network test.
ArcheAge Chronicles is an open-world action MMORPG developed and self-published by XLGAMES. Currently under development with a focus on exploration and player cooperation, its combat system is designed for players to read opponent movements and decide when to dodge, parry, and attack.
The Steam PC demo period runs from 2:00 AM on October 20 to 2:00 AM on October 27 (KST). Anyone with a Steam account can download and play without any separate registration or test key.
