LPL 3rd seed TES delivered a refreshing performance on the international stage for the first time in a while, successfully advancing to the Worlds quarterfinals.
At the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, TES secured a 2-1 victory over BLG in the 2-1 Swiss Stage match of the 2026 LoL World Championship (Worlds) to advance to the quarterfinals, becoming the second team from the LPL to do so after IG. Below is the post-match interview with TES mid laner Creme.

Q. You frequently participate in international tournaments, but recently you've always fallen short. Today, it seems you properly showcased TES's strengths.
I feel really great right now after advancing to the quarterfinals.
Q. TES seems to have a particularly large gap between playing well and playing poorly. What are your thoughts on this?
I think the gap between our high end and our low end is quite large. Player condition plays a big role in that as well. Depending on those factors, our performance varies significantly.
Q. Game 2 was tough due to knight's LeBlanc, but what was the turning point that allowed you to come back?
Looking at their team composition, it scaled stronger as the game went late, but with our composition, we felt that as long as we targeted their Seraphine effectively, we could turn it around.
Q. The LPL's 3rd and 4th seeds reached the quarterfinals first. Is it fair to say there is virtually no skill gap between seeds 1 through 4?
In my opinion, IG and TES analyzed the meta for this Worlds well and built up good form, which is why we reached the quarterfinals first.
Q. There's a high probability you will face an LCK team in the quarterfinals. Is there an LCK team you'd like to face, or one you find most tricky?
It seems most likely that we'll meet T1, but whoever we face doesn't really matter that much.
