Smilegate announced on the 30th that Epic Seven officially launched its Steam service on the 29th and opened the new server 'Foundry'. More than 100,000 players cumulatively participated in the Steam Wishlist event that began last August.
Developed by Supercreative, the mobile turn-based strategy RPG Epic Seven expanded its service platform to Steam in response to global player demand. Smilegate explained that it expects long-term synergies in terms of attracting new players and improving accessibility. The Steam service also supports controller/gamepad controls.
The new server, 'Foundry', can also be accessed on mobile and the PC client STOVE. For players starting the game for the first time, PvP (player-versus-player) matchmaking will operate separately from other servers for a set period.
Events have also been prepared to help new players settle into the game. The 'Settlement Support Buff Event' that began on the 29th provides growth support effects for heroes and accounts, as well as daily hero summon opportunities. Rewards for logging into the game and playing content include equipment, growth materials, and hero skins.
The special Side Story 'Secret Rabbit Hole' will run from the 29th through December 10. By progressing through the story, players can earn three types of Level 88 equipment, and collecting all three new bunny girl characters and two skins will grant a special pet.
The narrative follows 'Bunny Girl Great Detective Moro' and her assistant 'Alencia' as they investigate an incident to prevent a terrorist attack detected during a victory party. Over the course of their investigation, the two uncover the full truth behind the hidden event.
During the same period, the 'Trusty Sidekick Alencia's Case Files Event' and the 'Lucky Board Party Event' will offer additional rewards such as enhancement stones and emojis. Detailed information about the game can be found on the official Epic Seven community and official YouTube channel.
