Pearl Abyss released 'Charting the Unknown,' the first downloadable content (DLC) for Crimson Desert Enhanced, worldwide on the 30th KST.
This DLC covers the story following the defense of Pywel. After fierce battles, Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane each set out to find their purpose in life. Alongside their journeys, the update introduces ocean navigation and underwater exploration, relationship building with residents, facility management and operation, and expanded housing.
The stage for exploration expands to Pywel's oceans and underwater depths. Players can set sail for new islands aboard self-built ships, and dive beneath the waves to discover hidden treasures, ancient ruins, and secrets.
The options for creating living spaces have also expanded. In housing, players can design and construct homes—from the placement of structural elements like walls and windows to the basic layout of the house—and decorate the interiors. After liberating certain strongholds, players can decorate castle courtyards and interiors to turn them into spaces of their own.
Relationships with local residents and economic activities have also been added. Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane can build trust with the people of Pywel to develop romantic relationships or even marry them. In liberated strongholds, players can lease and operate facilities to build their wealth.
Supported platforms are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Mac, and Epic Games Store. 'Charting the Unknown' launched simultaneously worldwide across these platforms.
