On the morning of October 30 (KST), at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, BLG lost 1-2 to TES in the Swiss Stage of the 2026 LoL World Championship (Worlds), pushing them to the brink of elimination with a 2-2 record. Speaking in the press room after the match, Viper (Park Do-hyeon) pulled no punches as he vented harsh criticism regarding his team's internal breakdown in communication and shaky performance.

Reflecting on the match, Viper said, "In Game 1, everything went according to plan from draft to in-game play, but mistakes started piling up from Game 2. As for Game 3, I'm left with regret due to the lack of in-game communication and a draft direction I didn't want."
He delivered a cold assessment of the teamwork issues that surfaced in Game 3 in particular. "Perhaps due to the aftermath of losing Game 2, players were just blurting out whatever they wanted to say in Game 3 and completely ignoring each other," Viper noted. "The most painful moment was the critical bottom lane fight, where someone called out 'Pantheon has no ultimate,' yet the enemy Pantheon joined the battle with his ultimate, causing us to lose the teamfight disastrously."
When asked about BLG's inconsistent performance, he remarked, "Originally, BLG as a team has always been far from stable." He admitted, "Even the games we won so far only looked on the surface like we snowballed well; in reality, it was thanks to frequent opponent mistakes or riding momentum. Today was a defeat where we were completely outplayed in every aspect."
Pushed to the edge, he also shared his mindset ahead of the upcoming 2-2 deciding match. "With our current level of play, it's hard to even gauge what kind of draft would be best, but the most urgent task is normalizing communication," Viper assessed sternly. "Right now, our team's internal communication is at a level where it's 'worse than having none at all.'"
However, he left room for a comeback, adding, "Honestly, right now I don't have a clear sense of how we should navigate the game, but if we seize this last chance and advance to the quarterfinals, it could serve as an opportunity to become even stronger." He concluded the interview by saying, "I am sorry to the fans in Korea who cheered for us for showing such a disappointing performance. In the next match, we will definitely return as the true BLG."
