A place to meet off-screen with the companions they hunted alongside in-game, the 'Flyff Universe World Championship (FWC) 2026' was held on October 24 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall in Manila, Philippines. FWC, marking its fourth edition this year, is a festival where players from around the world compete for victory and fans gather in one place to share their passion for the game.
This final match was also the last stage of a half-year journey that began on the dedicated FWC server opened in April. For the players who had raised their characters from the same starting line, it was a day to prove their skills and meet face-to-face with the teammates they had played with online. The golden championship trophy on stage also waited for its new owner.
Around the venue, sights as eye-catching as the competition itself were prepared. In particular, this year welcomed fans on an even larger scale than last year. The arena was filled with fun mini-games, photo spots, a stage modeled after the in-game town square, and plenty of spectacles. Familiar characters were transformed into keychains, stickers, and acrylic stands, while stylish cosplayers and KAIA—one of the representative girl groups of the Philippines—also made an appearance. Thanks to this, according to organizer estimates, a crowd of approximately 7,000 fans—far exceeding the previous tournament—filled the venue to capacity. Truly, a festival for Flyff Universe fans.
