NEXUS (CEO Jang Hyun-guk) announced on the 27th that it is partnering with 'B.AI,' TRON's AI and payment infrastructure, to expand its agent-centric ecosystem. The core of this partnership is to enable AI agents to evolve from simple information providers into independent economic entities capable of holding assets and conducting transactions on their own.

B.AI is designed to combine on-chain identity systems with payment protocols, enabling AI agents to hold assets and execute transactions without human intervention. While existing AI services have largely been limited to providing answers to questions, agents within the B.AI system act as entities capable of performing real-world actions and transactions.

Specifically, the system is built on the x402 payment protocol and the TRC-8004 on-chain identity standard, enabling automated payments and collaboration between agents. It creates an environment where AI can exchange value directly without relying on traditional financial systems or complex account-based authentication procedures.

Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to significantly expand the practical use cases for AI agents. 'Multi-Royal,' an AI agent-based game platform launched by NEXUS in February, is a prime example where agents assess situations and operate as independent economic actors. The number of agents participating in the platform has already surpassed 20 million, demonstrating tangible results.

In addition, NEXUS has integrated TRON-based Tether (USDT, TRC-20) payments into 'Cross Pay,' the payment system embedded in its web-based store, 'Cross Shop.' As an integrated payment system supporting in-game item purchases, the introduction of Tether enhances both payment convenience and stability for global users.

B.AI stated, "The digital environment is a natural testbed for experimenting with autonomous economies," adding, "We are collaborating with 'Cross' to explore the intersection of Web3 gaming and AI."

They further added, "As 'Cross' is building a full-stack solution for in-game transactions, we are co-designing a conceptual framework for how AI agents can interact, manage assets, and conduct transactions within virtual environments."
