Peanut named 2022 LCK Summer Finals MVP

On Aug. 28, in the 2022 LCK Summer Split Finals, Gen.G swept T1 3-0 and reigned as the champions. Throughout the match, Han “Peanut” Wang-ho showed a splendid performance, playing Sejuani and Xin Zhao. After the match, he was voted the MVP for the finals.

As he was awarded the MVP, Peanut said, “I won the spring finals MVP back in 2017. I thought Ruler would get the MVP today, so I was getting prepared to congratulate him. I’m thrilled to have been named the MVP and a bracelet as a bonus.” The finals MVP will be awarded 5M KRW and an MVP bracelet from Tiffany & Co. Peanut continued, “Isn’t this a one-of-a-kind? There’s only one of these in the world, right? I’m really glad to be the owner of such item.”

With the finals over, the LCK will decide the last two participants for the 2022 LoL World Championship at the Regional Qualifiers on Sep. 1 through 3. Gen.G and T1 each have secured a spot as 1st and 2nd seed through winning the championship and championship points.
