Studio Bside unveiled the half-anniversary showcase for its育成 simulation RPG 'Star Savior' today (the 15th). Director Lee Seong-won appeared at the showcase to introduce the half-anniversary update and the roadmap for the future.

First, prior to the half-anniversary update, the update cycle for the main story was mentioned. The intervals between main stories had become long due to extended preparation periods for major events such as Erosion Traces and Fengyue Hall, but going forward, the main story cycle is planned to be stabilized to approximately two and a half months. While the stories of key characters like Carnelia will be rapidly unfolded through events, the plan is to develop the full-scale story of Star Savior starting with Episode 5. Following this, an introduction to the Half-Anniversary event story, 'Wedding Wars,' was presented. This event covers the story of a captain caught up in a festival to select a May bride, and Carmen and Efindel who step forward to help him; it will run for approximately three weeks starting from May 28. With the start of the event, Star Savior's first limited character, 'Eternal Promise Carmen,' will be unveiled. Eternal Promise Carmen is a savior specialized in protecting allies, possessing a gimmick that allows her to intervene and activate protective effects even when it is not her turn when allies are in danger. Blessing in Bloom Efindel, introduced in the third week of the event, is a Solar-attribute Caster and a savior capable of inflicting significant damage on shielded enemies. Eternal Promise Carmen and Blessing in Bloom Efindel are subject to a "Medium Damage" system where their outfits are destroyed upon breaking their toughness. Their damaged appearance can be seen in Extra Moments as well as in battles. A manners mode can also be set to avoid awkward situations when playing outdoors. First, 'Guardian Star Awakening,' which upgrades SR characters, has been added. This is a new system designed to address the growth limitations and meta-falling issues of existing SR characters, requiring an exclusive currency called Morning Star Blooming Stones. Morning Star Blooming Stones can be obtained through Flashpoint content, and like SSR characters, their imprints are also removed after Guardian Star Blooming. A 'Equipment Loadout' feature is also added, allowing for the separate management of existing equipment and gauntlet equipment. Equipment presets are scheduled to be introduced in a future update, and a Precision Crafting system is being updated to make equipment setup easier, allowing players to select set options, primary stats, and secondary stats. Additionally, a feature is being added that allows players to pre-set unnecessary options to automatically sell equipment that meets those conditions. A 'Reignition Buff' system is being implemented to break the cycle of staying in specific stages for extended periods in Operation content. It is a system where, if you fail to clear a specific stage for a certain period, buffs gradually stack to enable you to clear the operation. A system to rent a friend's Arcana for beginner and returning users, and a Blessing Re-observation system to reduce the burden of Blessing farming after clearing Journey content will also be added.
