During its latest showcase, Xbox unveiled a limited edition console to commemorate the brand's 25th anniversary. The 'Xbox Series X 25th Anniversary Limited Edition' revives the translucent design of the original Xbox and is scheduled for release in November.

The console features a translucent exterior inspired by the original Xbox launched in 2001 and its iconic 'OG Green' color. It offers the same performance as the standard Xbox Series X and comes with 1TB of storage. When powered on, the 'X' logo lights up in green, a nod to the original Xbox boot screen, and the 25th-anniversary logo is featured on the front.

The 'Xbox Wireless Controller 25th Anniversary Special Edition,' also revealed today, features the same translucent OG Green finish. It incorporates the ABXY button colors from the original controller, while the bumpers are modeled after the black-and-white buttons of the original 'Duke' controller. The rear case and battery cover are transparent, allowing the classic Xbox logo to show through.

Xbox stated that this Collection is a tribute to the users who have been with the brand for the past 25 years. The console and controller will be sold together as a limited edition bundle in select markets this November, with the controller also available for separate purchase. Pricing and pre-order details will be announced at a later date.
