According to 'Yunhap News', the prosecution demanded Jeon Byeong-Hun serve 7 years in prison and pay a fine of 600 million won($535K) for bribery -- with an additional 1 year and 6 months for abuse of authority and embezzlement.

During his time in KeSPA, Jeon received a total of 550 million won as "donations" from Lotte Home Shopping, GS Home Shopping, and KT by taking advantage of his political influence. In addition, Jeon is under suspicion of having embezzled 'financial support' from KeSPA that he himself had demanded from the executive in charge of finance when he served as Senior Presidential Secretary for Political Affairs.

"By privatizing KeSPA, Jeon received millions of won as bribe money from multiple organizations. When he served as Senior Presidential Secretary, he pressured the employee who is in charge of finance to unjustly fund KeSPA," stated the prosecution.

The prosecution also said that, despite all of this, "Jeon has denied all charges and put the blame on his secretary, 'because he wasn't briefed properly'."
