RPLAY GAMES announced on the 29th that it has officially launched the dark romance visual novel 'The Day It Rained Blood' on Steam. The game features a total of 23 episodes along with an epilogue set after the ending.
RPLAY GAMES is the game publishing brand of PLAX Neural Lab and handled Steam publishing for this title. The developer is REDXZONE, and the Steam version supports Korean, English, and Japanese text, as well as Korean voice acting.
Based on RPLAY's AI character chat IP, this game is an adult mystery romance. At the center of the story are Shin Seo-ah, who is trapped under a curse of dying once a day and resurrecting the next, and her childhood friend Seol Ga-hee, who seems born with every blessing.
Players are given choices to either pursue the truth behind Shin Seo-ah's curse or continue their daily life alongside Seol Ga-hee, who has long stayed by their side. These choices influence character relationships and story progression, leading to character-specific routes and different endings. The romance and mystery narrative unfolds against the contrast of death and resurrection, misfortune and good fortune.
RPLAY creators Choa and Sona participated in full voice acting for the main characters. Key scenes are portrayed through event CGs and standing illustrations.
