Version 1.4 will run for about six weeks, from Wednesday, September 30 to Wednesday, November 11, with the first and second halves running for 21 days each.

Version 1.4 introduces new stories in both the first and second halves. This marks the beginning of new narratives following the conclusion of The Scarlet Letter arc.
The first-half Main Story "Witch" begins when the Evaluator, having returned to peaceful daily life, receives a request from the Witch's House. The request asks them to embark on a long journey with Raven, who rarely steps outside her home, triggered by a mysterious letter addressed to Raven. It asks for help with an incident that only Raven can solve, but it contains no destination or details of the request, and even Raven's divination cannot track any information. Nevertheless, the moment Raven holds the letter, she feels the screams of suffering souls and is convinced the request is genuine. Along with the story, a new medieval-themed Anomaly area, "St. Albo Village", will also be added.
In the second half, the Extra Story "To Us of That Day" will be added. Serving as a sequel to the previous Extra Story, where players met Akane Rin at the live house StarSign and formed the band "Romantic Owls!!!!", this chapter follows them as they take the stage for Clement Academy's 100th-anniversary celebration performance. Akane's past, which was briefly teased in the previous story, will also be gradually revealed through this story.

The core of Version 1.4 is the new area Puka Paradise. The entire island has been designed as a massive theme park split into four play zones, with each section featuring distinct themes and rides.

Upon entering, the first area visitors encounter is the main thoroughfare, Puka Street. Serving as a crossroads leading to various parts of the theme park, it features rides such as the Drop Tower and Rotating Octopus, as well as reward exchange spots like souvenir shops and point shops. To the left is Cake Mountain, to the right is Lava Town, and the final zone is Puka Dream Castle. Lava Town features a rollercoaster speeding through active volcanoes, though the volcanoes spew boiling chocolate instead of lava. At Puka Dream Castle, an illusion fireworks show takes place every night.

There is a wide variety of rides. Below Cake Mountain, the Secret Flower Garden is a maze garden where players are dropped into a random location and must find the exit before their stamina runs out. Wearing the X-ray item "Lollipop Glasses" temporarily reveals the exit and treasure locations, and faster clear times yield higher points. In the same zone, the Spooky Cookie House is a first-person haunted house. Players explore a dark building with only a flashlight and must collect all exclusive items to open the exit, with devices like pumpkin heads that make sounds to distract ghosts placed to assist in escaping.

Lava Town's Gold Rush is a mode where players ride a minecart across tracks to collect chocolate gold coins, navigating obstacles and broken rails. Puka Street's Drop Tower requires hitting the firepower button with precise timing to build up a gauge, launching players into the sky from the peak, which transitions into the Candy Masquerade where players shoot airborne candy in first-person view. Additionally, player attractions include the Anomaly-infested Sweet Wheel, fighting off tentacles while riding spinning teacups, games where players defeat Pukamon or play Whack-a-Mole style hammer games, and minigames like Doll Operation and Lucky Darts.

Upon their first visit, players receive the excursion notebook "Puka Paradise Travelogue". Following the notebook's guide naturally leads players through recommended routes while earning rewards. All rides in the park yield the event currency "Puka Star Coupon", which can be exchanged for the new vehicle "Paradise Cruise", the new glider "Chocolate Airplane", Puka Paradise-themed profile frames, titles, and namecards, as well as Anoliths and upgrade materials.

Arriving in the first-half pickup of Version 1.4, Raven is a Soul-attribute Main DPS featuring the Rapid Cycle trait. She possesses an Esper Ability that implants suggestions into targets by reciting incantations, influencing their subsequent actions.
Her Normal Attack "Passing Shadow" executes up to a 5-hit combo using three chains, and holding the button during activation transitions into "Homing", which drastically slows target movement speed. Her Skill "Dirge Feathers" applies the "Feathers of Paradise Lost" mark to hit targets; while marked, when other characters attack the target, a Paradise Lost Bird coordinated attack triggers, dealing AoE damage.
Unleashing her Ultimate "Rest for All Souls" transforms Raven into the Witch of Salvation, dealing high damage and boosting the entire party's Attack for a duration. In this state, her Normal Attack changes to "Flames of Burnt Offering", which can be held to follow up with "Blessings Upon Thee" and "Gospel for All". Note that the Skill "Underworld Flames" starts in an inactive state and only activates after completing a 5-hit combo of Flames of Burnt Offering or a counterattack.
In the open world, she can transform into a solitary bird to fly quickly. Her Skill upgrade material "Perpetuity of Memory" is obtained from Anomaly Pilgrimage - Collector, while her Level Breakthrough material "Colorful Ticket Fragment" is dropped by Anomaly Tracking - Monarch Butterfly.

The star of the second-half pickup in Version 1.4, Akane Rin, is a Phase-attribute Main DPS. She is a band girl working part-time at the live house StarSign, serving as the guitarist and main vocalist for "Romantic Owls!!!!", while also hiding another side as a former Anomaly Hunter.
In combat, she uses an electric guitar as her weapon. Plucking the guitar strings unleashes shockwave blades to strike enemies from mid-to-long range. Her Normal Attack delivers up to a 4-hit combo, earning a "Power Chord" on each hit. Her Byrail Skill inflicts "Overtone" on a single target, allowing subsequent Normal Attacks to transmit through Overtone even from afar with increased damage. Pressing the Skill button while Overtone is on the field detonates an enhanced version, dealing high-power damage to the target. Once energy is full, she can unleash her Ultimate, "Climax Impact".
Since she carries her guitar with her at all times, players can freely play music anywhere in the open world. Her Skill upgrade material "Good Puppy Stamp" is obtained from Anomaly Pilgrimage - Mofix, while her Level Breakthrough material "Spark Plug" is dropped by Anomaly Tracking - Headless Rider.

| Timing | Limited Board | Character | Duration |
| First Half | The Last Moment of Prophesy | Raven | Post-update Sept 30 ~ Oct 21, 06:59 |
| First Half | Awakening from a Sweet Dream | Lacrimosa (Rerun) | Post-update Sept 30 ~ Oct 21, 06:59 |
| Second Half | Radiant Star | Akane Rin | Post-maint Oct 21 ~ Nov 11, 06:59 |
All Limited Boards share S-Class character pity guarantees, Point Gift counters, and Board Transformation counters. However, Skin Benefit event counters apply independently per board, and event counters for the same board are preserved.
In Ark Research Recruitment Plans, Raven's "Feather Special Edition" and Lacrimosa's "Nocturne Special Edition" open in the first half, while Akane Rin's "Sun, Moon & Star Special Edition" opens in the second half to align with each board's duration. Note that draw counts and pity systems are shared across these special editions.

Raven arrives with 3 costumes. "Stargazer" can be purchased at the Mall, "Red and Black" is earned through cumulative Skin Benefit dice rolls, and "Unfading Feather" is unlocked upon reaching Affinity Level 10.
Akane Rin has 5 costumes. "Full Metal Rocker" and "Sunset Velvet" are available in the Mall, "Superstar" is rewarded for reaching cumulative Skin Benefit dice milestones, "Energy Saver" is obtained at Affinity Level 10, and "Bartender Special" is gifted through the Puka Festival. Additionally, Haniel's "Footnote of Youth", Sakiri's "Teddy Bear Cookie", and Baekjang's "Slacker" can be obtained via the City Tycoon Puka Membership Plan.
A new Accessory category will be added to the Skin Shop. Acquired accessories can be freely equipped across various costumes and even worn by other characters. "Tomorrow's Star", "Spotlight", and "Purple Night" can be purchased with Fons, while "Pitch-Black Night", "First Prize", and "Stroke of Genius" are available in the Puka Membership Plan, and "Blackbird" is unlocked through achievements.

The time-attack tower-climbing mode "Deep Exploration" makes its debut. Consisting of 1,000 floors in total, a challenge stage appears every 10 floors, with difficulty escalating as players ascend. Clearing floors grants rewards and exclusive titles. Reaching a challenge stage presents special buffs to choose from, which significantly alter subsequent combat conditions and outcomes, requiring careful decision-making.
A 1v1 PvP minigame, "Crispy! Golden Double Crunch", will also open. Two players alternate roles as Shooter and Runner: the Shooter predicts the movement path of the Runner hiding between cover from high ground, while the Runner moves behind wooden planks and dodges incoming fire using shooting warnings. Roles swap after Round 1, and the player with the higher total score across both rounds wins.
The PvE mode "Charcoal's Treasure" is a defense mode where players fend off waves of incoming monsters to protect Charcoal's collectibles. Elite monsters and bosses will spawn, and defeating a boss lets players select one of three random buffs. Buffs stack and persist until the match ends. Defeated monsters drop exclusive currency that can be exchanged at the map's Lucky Machine for random items such as HP recovery or full freeze, which can be used to turn the tide in critical situations.
Four new Anomaly Commissions will be permanently added to Hethereau City: "Night of the Last Bus", investigating a ghost bus appearing at midnight stops; "Lilliput Beyond the Mirror", where players are pulled into an Anomaly space of giant objects; "A Modest Dream", avoiding monster surveillance in a dream to locate singularities; and "Spooky House is Open Today Too". Certain rides in Puka Paradise will also feature embedded Anomaly events.

Porsche Collaboration Season 2 kicks off. Players can obtain new collab vehicles, the Porsche 911 Turbo (930) and Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package, through Blind Boxes. Blind Boxes are drawn using Fons or Anoliths; costs increase with each draw, and all rewards in the box are guaranteed within a maximum of 15 attempts.
Season 1's Porsche 918 Spyder Blind Box also returns. Pity counts from the previous run carry over, allowing players who missed out to continue where they left off. Unlocking the Porsche Club enables customization with the classic "Salzburg" livery, as well as exclusive rewards including the "Mark of Honor" furniture, "Horizon Spectre" namecard, "One and Only" phone case, "Racing Instinct" phone wallpaper, and the title "Porsche Club".

Logging in for 7 days after the version update rewards up to 10 "Dice of Truth" as a seasonal gift. Additionally, special "Puka Festival" gifts celebrating the grand opening of Puka Paradise await players. Following the September 30 update, 10 Dice of Truth and the "Clockwork Winding" profile frame will be delivered via in-game mail, and after maintenance on October 21, 2 million Fons and Akane Rin's "Bartender Special" costume will be distributed.
In the second half Extra Story, a new collab song by "Romantic Owls!!!!" will also be unveiled. The broadcast gave only a teaser hint: "A song that aliens, time travelers, visitors from another world, and esper users would love." On the Japanese livestream held on the same day, the song was revealed to be "God knows...", an insert song from 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya'.

As the new sponsor Puka Group joins City Tycoon, the "Puka Membership Plan" is introduced. Structure-wise, completing series missions grants level-based rewards, including 2 S-Class Standard Character Selector Boxes, 1 S-Class Ark Selector Box, 3 character costumes, 3 accessories, dice skins "Puka Gacha" and "Sweet Donut", profile frame "Funding Grant 10,000 Won", namecard "Legend of Fons", and title "Puka Paradise Daily Marketing Manager". Raising the Membership Plan level increases the Tycoon funding acquisition cap and accumulation efficiency, and reaching certain levels unlocks Special Training to enhance character basic stats using Fons.
The existing Tycoon Project will also remain active. Levels and missions for both projects operate independently, allowing players to spend earned Fons on whichever side they choose. The existing Tycoon Project features an increased Fons accumulation rate, granting more progress than the actual acquired amount, and both projects gain Charity Projects where donating specific items rapidly boosts progress.
Hunter Supplies level cap increases to 80, with boosted rewards after Level 50. Standard Supplies receive an additional 100,000 Beetle Coins, while Elite Hunter Supplies gain 240,000 Beetle Coins, 250,000 Fons, and 360 Carrot Gold Coins. The Ark Light Collection in existing Elite Hunter Supplies updates to Ark Light Collection 2, allowing players to choose between 1 Ark or 2 million Fons.
Other QoL improvements are also implemented. Multiplayer functionality is added to "Volleyball Star", and the photography drone mode gains a tracking feature. "Hammer Time" adds new collectible types and brings Raven on as an auction assistant. A recommendation feature is added to the Friend system, while Affinity Gifts receive a one-click gift option, allowing players to max out favorability at once after exchanging or buying a single hand-written letter. A feature where waiting briefly on the character screen plays their first meeting animation is also included.
'Neverness to Everness' Version 1.4 "For Whom the Prayer Is Offered" updates on Wednesday, September 30, with further details to be confirmed through detailed announcements released at a later date.
