Game Freak has revealed its new mobile game 'Ame no Chi Hare Onna (雨のちハレ女)', which syncs with real-world weather.
On September 14, Game Freak announced its new mobile title 'Ame no Chi Hare Onna (working title)' and unveiled a key visual alongside a teaser video. The game is scheduled to launch on iOS and Android this winter.
Ame no Chi Hare Onna is built around the concept of "Tomorrow's weather becomes magic." It features unique content where real-world weather influences every aspect of the game. Set in modern Japan, the game tells the story of 'Hare Onna,' magical girls who change the weather to brighten people's hearts, and 'Kumorin,' divine messengers who grant them power, working together to bring brightness and clear skies across Japan. Along with this announcement, main characters Hare Onna Himawari Harewatari and Kumorin Pon Arai were revealed.
The game is co-developed by Game Freak and CHRONOGATE. Game Freak's Shigeru Ohmori, who served as a director for the Pokémon series, acts as director and producer for this title, with CHRONOGATE joining as a development partner.
Following the announcement, an official special livestream will air today at 7:00 PM. During the broadcast, the development team will introduce the game's background and world, while sharing detailed information about the characters alongside members of the voice cast.
Further details regarding the game can be found on its official X and YouTube channels.
