SOOP will hold online qualifiers on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, to determine the participants for the 'Google Play ASL Season 22' main event.

'Google Play ASL Season 22' is an original esports league hosted by SOOP, featuring Blizzard's RTS game 'StarCraft: Remastered.' Both days of the qualifiers will begin at 1:00 PM. A total of 22 players will be selected for the main event, with 12 advancing on the first day and 10 on the second. Those who pass the qualifiers will join the players who have already secured their seeds to compete in the Round of 24.

In the previously held wildcard match, Jang Yoon-chul (P) won and secured a direct seed to the Round of 16. In the subsequent Season 22 Season Open, Kim Taek-yong (P) and Byun Hyun-je (P) secured their spots in the Round of 24. Once the 22 additional players are selected through these qualifiers, the Round of 24 bracket will be complete. The finals for this season are scheduled to be held on a special stage at the Lotte World Ice Rink.

A Drops event will also be held for users watching the qualifiers. Google Play gift cards will be awarded via a raffle to users who watch the qualifiers on the official ASL broadcast channel.
