NEXUS reveals nine-game onboarding slate for ONE platform

NEXUS has revealed a lineup of nine games that will onboard to its blockchain gaming platform, ONE, with releases scheduled throughout the remainder of the year. According to an announcement, the rollout will begin with Frost Kingdom, before expanding across multiple genres including massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs), simulation strategy games (SLGs), collectible RPGs and trading card games (TCGs).

The company said the lineup is intended to appeal to both casual and hardcore players through a mix of established intellectual properties (IPs) and new titles featuring artificial intelligence (AI) functionality. Among the MMORPGs joining the platform is Rappelz M, BPMG's mobile successor to the long-running PC title Rappelz. Also included is Astellia M from Lepor Games, which features strategic combat built around collectible 'Astell' summons and five playable classes.

Meanwhile, SESISOFT's Metin: Overture to Destruction adapts Webzen's classic PC MMORPG Metin for mobile devices, while IMC Games will bring a global version of Tree of Savior M to the platform. Outside of the MMORPG genre, NEXUS will launch Frost Kingdom, an internally published strategy title that the company described as the world's first Web3 SLG. The game combines medieval kingdom-building with a merge mechanic that allows players to combine buildings and troops to accelerate progression. According to the announcement, it is scheduled to launch later this month.

The lineup also includes Elememetal, a player-versus-player card game from HoloStudio featuring AI-powered user-generated content (UGC). According to the announcement, players will be able to create custom card skins using text prompts. Additional games announced for the platform include collectible RPG Gemini Seed, mythology-inspired title Canonization of the Gods and action-focused RPG Chronicles of the Celestial Way.

Henry Chang, CEO of NEXUS, commented: "We will present high-quality games across various genres through the 'ONE' platform. "On a platform that encompasses everything from development to distribution, we will continuously expand our content to ensure more games can connect with players globally."

The announcement also outlined broader changes to the company's blockchain ecosystem. According to NEXUS, the CROSS mainnet will transition to ONEChain, while the native CROSS ($CROSS) token will be rebranded as ONE ($ONE). The latest game announcements form part of NEXUS' continued expansion of its blockchain gaming ecosystem as the company looks to grow the number of titles available through its ONE platform.
