After defeating GAM to secure a spot in the EWC 2026 quarterfinals, T1 Supporter 'Keria' Ryu Min-seok offered a candid assessment of his team's current adaptation to the meta.

Reflecting on the previous matches against BLG and GAM, Keria admitted, "Against BLG, we played too passively compared to our opponents and made many mistakes by failing to distinguish when to engage and when to hold back, which was disappointing." He added, "However, I'm glad that our performance against GAM was better, thanks to the feedback we incorporated in the time we had."
We also asked for his thoughts on the 'non-ADC meta,' a key topic for the bottom lane recently. Keria noted, "With the emergence of non-ADC champions, the pool of viable support champions feels somewhat limited." He continued, "I've been communicating well with my teammates, and I'm in constant dialogue with our ranged damage dealer, Phase (Kim Su-hwan)." He also offered a candid assessment of areas for improvement: "In a non-ADC meta, organic play centered around the top side is crucial, and I think we are still a bit lacking in that regard compared to other top-tier teams."
Keria praised his partner, Phase, for the victory against GAM. "Phase is a player who handles not only the currently popular non-ADC champions but also a wide variety of others very well. He showed an excellent performance on Seraphine," he said, offering a positive evaluation.
He also shared that he has been actively using the EWC's unique player lounge to relieve stress. When asked how it compares to official tournaments hosted by Riot Games, he said, "It's hard to say which is better, but the ability to play ping-pong during downtime and interact with players from other teams—and even other esports titles—in one place is a very meaningful and precious memory."
We also asked about his expectations for joining the national team for the upcoming Nagoya Asian Games. "Most of the national team members are players I've worked with for a long time in the past," he said with a smile. "I'm curious to see what it will feel like to play together again after so long, and as 'Zeus' said, I think it will just be funny."
He added, "Since this is a roster the fans have been waiting a long time for, I have high expectations as well. I will make sure we coordinate well on the national team to live up to those expectations and bring home the gold medal."
Finally, Keria said, "Once we enter the best-of-series stage, pick-ban preparation and real-time feedback become the most important factors. Our team is always confident in best-of-series matches." When asked if he would make a fun pledge in the event of a championship win, he concluded the interview on a lighthearted note: "If the opportunity arises, I'll perform a 'Paris Yahoo' celebration for the fans in Paris after we win."
