May19 Studio announced on the 17th that its new open world survival game, 'The Dead We Knew: Open World Survival,' will be released on Steam this August.

'The Dead We Knew: Open World Survival' is set in a post-apocalyptic world where civilization has collapsed. Players must scavenge for supplies and build secure shelters to survive in an environment teeming with the infected. The game captures the urgency of survival by combining resource gathering, crafting, and base-building systems. Beyond facing zombies, players must manage thirst, hunger, stamina, and health while navigating climate changes and fog that obscures their vision.
The pressure on players shifts with the day-night cycle. Since dangers increase in the dark, careful planning is essential. In addition to single-player exploration of this isolated world, the game supports co-op play for up to four players, allowing them to divide roles and work together.
The game's world features not only infected zombies but also conflicts with hostile survivors who threaten your existence. In a world where resources are scarce, the survivors you encounter could become allies or turn into enemies, forcing you to make difficult choices at every turn. May19 Studio has brought this ruined world to life through a somber atmosphere and eerie environmental design.
The price for 'The Dead We Knew: Open World Survival' will be announced at a later date. While the game does not currently support Korean, the developer stated that it may be added in the future. Further information and the official trailer can be found on the Steam shop page.
