T1 comfortably defeated FURIA in the first game of the lower bracket round 1, taking a 1-0 lead.

T1 applied strong pressure on FURIA from the start. They secured the first kill on 'Jojo's' Rell in the bottom lane, while FURIA responded as 'tatu's' Lee Sin rotated effectively to take down both 'Oner's' Trundle and 'Keria's' Camille. Both teams traded a kill in the bottom and top lanes, respectively. T1 then gained a significant advantage in a skirmish near the Void Grubs, winning the teamfight by quickly focusing down 'tatu's' Lee Sin, who had been accumulating kills, and pulling ahead in macro play.

Although FURIA secured two Dragon stacks and invested heavily in skirmishes to pick up kills, their lane state was dire. By the 14-minute mark, the kill score was tied at 6-6 and the Dragon count was 2-0 in favor of FURIA, yet T1 held a 3500 gold lead. T1 began to snowball rapidly, securing subsequent Dragons and the Rift Herald without contest while further extending their gold lead.

There were no major teamfights as FURIA consistently avoided combat to buy time to scale. T1, while not playing at a breakneck pace, steadily accrued advantages, systematically dismantling towers and seizing control of the enemy jungle. After destroying the mid-lane inhibitor, T₩1 a teamfight without the Baron buff and destroyed FURIA's Nexus at 33 minutes to take the first game.
