The Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA) announced that the final showdown to determine the strongest PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile team in the '2026 Korea e-Sports League' (2026 KEL) will take place over two days starting on the 25th at the Daejeon e-Sports Arena in Yuseong, Daejeon.

The KEL was launched last year with the goal of fostering regional e-sports talent and strengthening regional competitiveness. Now in its second year, the league provides a stage for players to gain real-world experience while also focusing on professional development and job creation. Offline matches are held in collaboration with regional e-sports arenas in Busan, Gwangju, South Gyeongsang (Jinju), and Daejeon.

The 2026 KEL PUBG Mobile main tournament kicked off on Saturday, April 18, at the Gyeongnam e-Sports Arena in Jinju and ran for six rounds until Saturday, June 27. A total of 78 players from 16 teams—14 regional teams and two partner teams—participated in the main tournament.

The final winner will be determined by combining the points earned during the main tournament with the results of the finals. In the main tournament, Nongshim RedForce took the lead with 9 points, followed by Dplus KIA with 8 points. FN Sejong followed with 4 points, while Daejeon Game PT and Kiwoom DRX each recorded 3 points. GJ Qx (Gwangju), Suwon e-Sports, and Jecheon Phalanx each secured 2 points, while Incheon Wave, Chungnam CNJ, and Jeonnam e-Sports each earned 1 point.

The finals will consist of 12 matches in total, with six matches played each day on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th, starting at 3:00 PM. The team that emerges as the 2026 KEL PUBG Mobile champion will receive the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award and a prize of ₩10 million. The second-place team will receive the Korea Creative Content Agency President Award and ₩6 million, while the third-place team will receive the Korea e-Sports Association President Award and ₩2 million. Additionally, the top two teams in the finals will be granted seeds for the PUBG Mobile International Cup (BMIC), and the tournament MVP will receive a Sidiz Gaming Chair GC PRO.

Admission to the finals at the Daejeon e-Sports Arena is free, with no prior reservation required. Various on-site events will be held, including a tasting event for Kkuburakko Charcoal Chicken. Participants will receive PUBG Mobile merchandise. Attendees will also receive a lucky draw ticket, with prizes such as Sidiz gaming chairs and power banks to be awarded after the matches.

Caster Shim Ji-soo and commentator Park Dong-jin will cover the first and second days of the PUBG Mobile finals. The matches will be broadcast live via the official KEL Chzzk, SOOP, and YouTube channels, as well as the PUBG Mobile e-sports YouTube channel. The 2026 KEL PUBG Mobile division is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, co-organized by the Korea e-Sports Association and KRAFTON, and sponsored by the Daejeon e-Sports Arena, SK Telecom, Kkuburakko Charcoal Chicken, and the Korea Creative Content Agency.
