On Tuesday, June 23, at 8:00 PM, a special broadcast was held on the official YouTube channel to celebrate the 1.6 version update and the 100th day since the launch of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. The Korean broadcast featured MCs Oh Seong-gyun and Kim Hyo-jin, along with guests Moving TV and cosplayer Yasal, who introduced the key content of version 1.6. This update brings a wealth of new content to mark the 100-day milestone, including the arrival of the new hero 'Elizabeth,' a vacation-themed 100-day season event, the new 'Sanctuary of Taranis' [Hell] difficulty raid, a pet exploration system, raid vows, and performance buffs for Escanor.

The star of version 1.6 is Elizabeth. Introduced alongside a PV, Elizabeth joins Britannia wielding three types of weapons: a Grimoire (Light/Healer), a Staff (Wind/Supporter), and a Wand (Earth/Buster).

The Grimoire Elizabeth is a team healer with powerful recovery abilities. She reduces the enemy's Attack and Defense while protecting allies with strong area-of-effect healing. When using her ultimate skill, she grants reaction immunity to team heroes, increasing stability. Her special weapon, 'Shadow Grimoire of Rupture,' applies a debuff that deals high damage when attacking enemies with Light type attacks via tag skills, and also increases received healing based on Defense buffs. Her bound gear, 'Flower of the Tavern,' reduces all enemy type resistances when a team hero attacks an enemy affected by the 'Water Play' effect, and increases the team's overall Critical Damage whenever she gains a continuous recovery effect.

The Staff Elizabeth is a supporter who maximizes the attacks of Wind type allies. She uses the 'Weathering' effect to reduce enemy Wind type resistance, increases the team's Penetration, and enhances allies' basic attack damage and basic attack critical damage. She is expected to be an essential hero for Wind type attackers focused on basic attacks, likely pairing well with Clotho. Her bound gear increases the Critical Damage dealt by Wind type team heroes to enemies affected by Weathering, and her tag skill increases the Critical Rate and buff duration efficiency of Wind type team heroes.

The Wand Elizabeth is an Earth type Buster who aggressively supports Earth type allies. She accumulates Earth type Burst proportional to her own Critical Damage and Attack; activating this burst increases the Critical Rate and Penetration of all Earth type heroes on the team. She can increase the team's overall Earth type damage through her own attacks and is expected to pair well with Diane and Daisy (Sword & Shield). While she does not have bound gear, she possesses the adventure skill 'Goddess' Blessing.' It recovers 5% of team HP every 5 seconds out of combat, and if team HP drops below 10% during combat, it triggers an emergency recovery of 30% of team HP (240s cooldown).

Four new costumes are being added for the summer vacation. Elizabeth's exclusive costume, 'Princess Who Regained Her Memories,' which features her original look, can be obtained through an exclusive costume draw. Swimsuit costumes for Clotho and Merlin can be obtained from the 'Fantasy of Blue Waves' costume draw, while Manny's swimsuit costume can be earned for free by clearing the event story.

1.6 The core event of this version, 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' is a special story set on Splash Island. Players can earn up to 3690 Star Fragments and the Manny swimsuit costume for free.

The event map features various minerals gathered in one place, making them easy to collect in large quantities. In addition to minerals, there are various other gathering items, which are expected to provide plenty of materials for crafting. A variant of Vanakro appears as a field boss, and players can obtain boss rewards by using a Splash Island Key after defeating it.

A permanent event is being added where players can obtain The Seven Deadly Sins SSR heroes just by progressing through the story. SSR King is awarded upon clearing ACT 2, SSR Diane is given for free upon clearing the ACT 11 'Reunion' quest, and the SSR Escanor pickup opens for 3 weeks upon clearing ACT 13. For those who have already cleared these before the update, the rewards will be applied immediately upon logging in after the update. With Escanor's performance buffs, his utility is expected to increase significantly.

SNS and Discord community events are also underway. On X (SNS), there is an Elizabeth PV repost event (winners receive an Elizabeth swimsuit acrylic stand) and an official YouTube subscription verification event (winners receive an extra-large desk mat-style mouse pad). On Discord, an Elizabeth team composition recommendation event is being held (1500 Star Fragments awarded).

The 'Watcher's Gear 4-Set' is added as new craftable equipment. The set effect allows a supporter hero equipped with the gear to deal additional damage with a certain probability whenever a team hero attacks an enemy after a successful tag skill attack. Supporter icons are distinguished by a diamond shape.

Zones 7 and 8 of the Crossroads of Time are also newly opened. Zone 7 features Gemstone Golems and Life Crystal Golems, with Fire and Dark types recommended. Zone 8 features Demonized Hendrickson, with Earth and Light types recommended.

Time Attack Ranking Board Regular Season 1 also begins. The target bosses for ranking are 'Truth' Galand of the Abyss and Crossroads of Time Zones 7 and 8. Just by participating, players can receive 'Laurel of Glory' rewards. Four types of pets (Nightsmoke Catseye, Lonely Ghostspirit, Chatty Elemental Fox, and Gentle Ninetail) are prepared as rewards.

A raid vow system is added to the Sanctuary of Taranis. This system allows players to apply specific restrictions during gameplay to earn additional rewards. In Abyss difficulty, players can choose restrictions such as party composition or clear time limits to obtain extra rewards. Clearing with the vow system allows players to obtain 'Ruler of Greed' armor up to quality 160.

A new [Hell] difficulty, lower than Abyss, is also added. While the clear difficulty is lower, the first-time reward is the same 500 Star Fragments as [Abyss], providing a gradual growth path for Star Keepers who find [Abyss] challenging.

Pet-related content is also receiving a large-scale update. Four new pets are added, including three hidden pets (Dark Requiem Flare, Chilly Frost Bear, and Sulky Little Spooky) and one mileage pet, 'Cute Baby Hell-Trouble' (capable of both mining and gathering).

The crafting of the new capture potion, 'Luminous Charm Potion,' is now open, allowing players to attempt to capture hidden pets with a higher success rate than before. The 'Pet Exploration' feature is also opening, allowing players to dispatch captured pets to collect certain gathering items placed in each zone. Additionally, the system has been improved so that capture potions are not consumed if used without a target, reducing fatigue during the process.

The performance adjustments for Escanor, requested by many Star Keepers, will be implemented with the 1.6 version update. The activation conditions for axe and greatsword skills will be eased, their utility will be enhanced, and the overall damage ceiling will be increased.
