BNK FEARX was eliminated from the Road to MSI after a 0-2 loss to T1 in the second round of the 2026 LCK regular season, held at LoL PARK in Jonggak on the 30th. The loss was particularly stinging given the first set, which was an intense, back-and-forth brawl that saw both teams racing to destroy the other's Nexus in the final moments.

Below is the full interview with BFX Head Coach Park Jun-seok and 'Clear' Song Hyeon-min.

Q. How do you feel about today's match against T1?

Head Coach Park Jun-seok = We lost the first set by the narrowest of margins. We haven't played many games like this in the late game recently, so our decision-making was lacking. In the second set, we needed to secure early kills, but we lost those skirmishes completely, and the game snowballed from there.

'Clear': Today's match was very important, so it's disappointing that we lost.

Q. What kind of strategy did you prepare for today?

Head Coach Park Jun-seok = In the pick-ban phase, we decided to leave some of 'Keria's' signature picks open and prepare a counter-strategy. It worked well in the early game, but our late-game judgment was poor.

Q. The final moments of the first set must have been very frustrating.

'Clear': When we left our base, we were confident we could end the game. As we were clearing the minion waves, I started to have doubts, but we pushed forward to finish it, and unfortunately, it didn't work out.

Q. What is your overall assessment of the first two rounds?

Head Coach Park Jun-seok = There was a roster trade in the middle of the season, and I was worried about how the players would handle it. However, 'Taeyoon' adapted better than expected. Things could have easily fallen apart and our performance could have collapsed, but I think the team held up well. It is a shame, though, that we didn't make it to the next stage.

'Clear': The results are definitely disappointing, and it’s been a rollercoaster of a season so far. Still, since 'Taeyoon' joined, the team atmosphere has improved and it’s become more fun.

Q. With today's loss, your Road to MSI run has ended. You have a break coming up; what areas will you focus on improving?

Head Coach Park Jun-seok = Our early game is fine, but we need to improve our late-game macro.

Q. Any final words?

Head Coach Park Jun-seok = It's very disappointing to lose today. We will prepare well and show a better performance in the third and fourth rounds.

'Clear': Practice has been fun since 'Taeyoon' joined. I wanted to keep playing for longer, but we will work on our weaknesses and come back stronger for the next round.
