NC announced on the 27th that it has updated the MMORPG 'Aion 2' with a new sanctuary, the 'Grail of Muspel.'

The 'Holy Grail of Muspel' is the most difficult PvE dungeon in Aion 2. It is set in an ancient temple that was submerged in lava deep within the Muspel volcano but has since been revealed by tectonic shifts. Defeating the boss monster, 'Caldrix, Disaster of the Underworld,' allows players to obtain new equipment such as the Lava Heart weapon (extendable), Lava Heart Gadder, and Caldrix's Brooch. The first players to successfully clear the dungeon will be rewarded with a 'Pet: Red Dragon.' The minimum item level required to enter the dungeon is 4,500, and players may attempt it an unlimited number of times within the time limit.

New craftable equipment has also been added. Weapons and guards of the Blue Dragon/Dragon Slayer King, obtainable only through succession crafting, have been introduced, featuring six base soul imprint options. A 'Sage's Stone: Power (Imprint)' has also been added, which can be used to perform soul binding on this equipment.

Various changes have been applied to the PvP battlefield, the 'Abyss.' New island areas accessible via tornadoes have been added to the middle layer, where player visibility on the minimap is restricted. The stats of Abyss boss monsters and Dimensional Cores have been increased, and new equipment—'Captain's Weapon/Guard' and 'Elite Captain's Weapon'—can now be obtained through the Abyss shop and succession crafting.

Character stat caps have been expanded. The caps for Power, Agility, Accuracy, Will, Knowledge, and Stamina have been increased to 250, and the maximum bonus for Attack and Defense has been raised to 130%. A 'Wing Enhancement System' has also been introduced, allowing players to strengthen their wings to gain additional stats.

To celebrate the update, NC is hosting the 'Signal of Resurrection' event. Until the regular maintenance on June 10, players can purchase up to 20 'Resurrection Spiritstones (Imprint)' per week from the 'Breeze Merchant Guild' using Kinah, the in-game currency.
