kt Rolster successfully overcame a crisis to extend their winning streak.
kt Rolster had to make an emergency call-up of 'PerfecT' Park Gang-jun today after 'Aiming' Kim Ha-ram was unable to play due to health issues. It was a significant challenge, as he was not from the main roster and there was no time to practice together, but the team defeated Nongshim RedForce 2-1 to climb to sole possession of second place with a 12-3 record.
Below is the interview with kt Rolster Head Coach Hirai and 'Effort' Lee Sang-ho.

Q. How do you feel about today's victory?
Head Coach Hirai: It was a full series, but I'm happy we won and secured the points.
'Effort': I'm happy and proud that we won after 'PerfecT' was called up on such short notice.
Q. What did you think of 'PerfecT's' performance today?
Head Coach Hirai: 'Aiming' was feeling very unwell, so he couldn't play on short notice. 'PerfecT' had to step in suddenly, but I think he played his role well. Even though he didn't have any time to scrim, he didn't try to overextend and played well for the team.
'Effort': He looked a bit nervous in the first set, but from the second set on, he communicated well. Since we had played together in the CL, things went smoothly.
Q. What was the key to today's victory?
Head Coach Hirai: In the second set, we aimed for a composition that could proactively initiate fights, and it worked well. In the third set, we won by utilizing global ultimates effectively and investing resources into the top lane to gain an advantage.
Q. You were named Player of the Match (POM) today?
'Effort': It's been a really long time. I feel like I've regained my confidence, and I'm so happy. I want to win it again.
Q. Any final words?
Head Coach Hirai: We will practice hard during the remaining time to further improve our performance.
'Effort': It's a three-game winning streak in the LCK, but there are still many things to improve. We will come back even better.
