SEGA Publishing Korea announced that a bundle edition of the court adventure games 'Road To Empress: Birth of an Empress 1' and 'Road To Empress: Birth of an Empress 2,' developed by New One Studio, is scheduled for release on the Nintendo Switch in 2026. Through a partnership with New One Studio, SEGA will co-publish both titles in Japan and select Asian markets.

Road To Empress: Birth of an Empress' is a live-action interactive FMV (Full Motion Video) drama game where players must break the chains of fate and navigate the power struggles of the imperial court. Centered on themes of court survival and political intrigue, the game offers deep immersion and high replayability, as even the smallest choices made by the player can alter their destiny and those around them, ultimately shaping the journey of an empress who defines an era.

Each scene in the game is composed of live-action footage filmed with cinematic quality. The first installment in the series, 'Road To Empress: Birth of an Empress 1,' gained significant attention for its talented cast and meticulously crafted world, including detailed props, and surpassed 1 million copies in cumulative global sales within two weeks of its release.
