LCK first seed Hanwha Life Esports got off to a smooth start by defeating TSW 3-0.

Hanwha Life secured the first kill once again. In the top lane, 'Zeus' earned a solo kill on Mundo against Renekton. Leveraging that early lead to dominate the lane, 'Zeus' took down Renekton a second time, with TSW only managing to mitigate the damage when Naafiri rotated quickly to catch Mundo.

However, TSW held a clear advantage in the bottom lane. Using the strong laning combination of Caitlyn and Karma, they pressured Miss Fortune and Bard to seize control, eventually destroying the first tower with help from Naafiri to pull ahead in gold. By the 17-minute mark, TSW led by 3k gold, forcing Hanwha Life to play from behind.

Hanwha Life focused their efforts on the top lane. With Mundo ahead of Renekton, they demolished the top tower and secured advantages in skirmishes to close the gold gap. As the game transitioned into teamfights, the previously tight score shifted in Hanwha Life's favor; their teamfight execution was clearly superior to TSW's.

After winning a teamfight and securing Baron, Hanwha Life kept the pressure on TSW, destroying their Nexus at the 30-minute mark to seal a 3-0 victory and advance to the winners' bracket.
