EPIDGAMES, the developer of 'Trickcal: Revive', unveiled its new project, 'Trickcal Fatima', today (the 29th).

'Trickcal Fatima' was first teased on the 26th via a countdown timer at the bottom of the Trickcal 1k-day anniversary page. The countdown, accompanied by an equalizer-like effect, piqued curiosity about the reveal date. Once the timer hit zero, the company officially announced the game's development by posting a teaser and job openings on its official website.

The 2-minute and 40-second teaser highlights the signature 'chubby cheek' art style of the Trickcal series and features the quirky tagline, "Surely this won't fail from the start. Probably." The teaser also includes several connections to the previous game, such as the appearance of 'Sion'—who bears a striking resemblance to 'Sion the Darkbullet'—and glimpses of a charming near-future city reminiscent of the previous game's Monatium.

Meanwhile, notable changes from the previous title include the player being addressed as 'Senior' and the inclusion of the phrase, "Find us when you hear this music." The official website also introduces key themes such as a setting aboard a ship sailing through outer space, 'Star-children' born with starlight, and a management diary focused on building the best company in the universe, hinting at a story distinct from its predecessor.

While combat or in-game footage has yet to be revealed, the intensive recruitment drive for combat client programmers, combat and balance planners, Spine 2D animators, VFX artists, and concept artists suggests the game will be a 2D collectible RPG with a heavy emphasis on ultimate skill animations.
