WEMADE (CEO Park Kwan-ho) has signed a publishing agreement with MADNGINE (co-CEOs Son Myeon-seok and Lee Jung-wook) for a new title based on the 'Night Crows' IP and has begun full-scale launch preparations. The two companies are working closely together with the goal of a global one-build release within the year.
The new title is a multi-platform MMORPG playable on both PC and mobile. WEMADE plans to replicate the success of the 'Night Crows' IP by leveraging the competitive edge of the original game—already proven in the global market—to deliver an upgraded experience.
Since its launch in 2023, the original 'Night Crows' has become a hit, recording ₩750 billion in cumulative global revenue and 14 million cumulative users. It notably reached the top three in app market game revenue rankings across major Asian markets, including South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and achieved a peak concurrent user count of over 450k globally.
The strong IP power of 'Night Crows' serves as a unique differentiator among the various new MMORPGs slated for release this year. WEMADE is focusing its efforts on maintaining market anticipation by building upon the gameplay that has already been recognized by global users.
WEMADE plans to sequentially release specific game information, including the official title of the new game.
Meanwhile, WEMADE is simultaneously pursuing a launch of the original 'Night Crows' in China to further expand its global market presence.
