Starting today, the 12nd, 'OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Champions of the Continent' has kicked off its 'Transcendent Festival (2026 Mid-Year)' with a variety of events, including a newly announced collaboration with Final Fantasy VI.
The Final Fantasy VI collaboration begins today, allowing players to encounter familiar characters from the game as travelers across the continents of Orsterra and Solistia. To celebrate, the game is offering various free rewards, including collaboration-exclusive Awakening Stones, 800 Rubies, and Sacred Seals.
Additional Final Fantasy VI collaboration content will be released in future updates. On June 18, Phenn, a popular hunter character from 'Octopath Traveler 0', will also make her debut in Champions of the Continent.
Phenn will be available for a limited time, bringing new story content to travelers while offering fresh combat skills and new strategic combinations.
The start of the Transcendent Festival also brings a flood of rewards. Players who log in during the first three days of the festival will receive highly anticipated items, including limited-time free Guiding, free Rubies, and Awakening Stones. Events such as the 'Origin of Fire' and the 'Limited - Time All - Creation Post Office' will also run concurrently to further enhance the festival experience.
Improvements to the player experience are also being implemented. Players will find it easier to claim mission and mail rewards, and new features such as combat support, accessory recommendations, and one-click party formation have been added to assist new users. The classic JRPG mobile game 'OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Champions of the Continent' was officially released in Korea in 2023.
