On the 26th, SK Telecom T1 took down Splyce in the third quarterfinal match of the 2019 LoL World Championship. With this 3-1 victory over Splyce, they now potentially face their fellow LCK team DAMWON, or G2, the revenge match against the team that knocked SKT out of their MSI tenure, in the semifinals.

SKT’s Top laner, Kim ‘Khan’ Dong-ha, joined Jeesun Park in the official LCK broadcast for the post-match interview to share his thoughts about the victory. 

Congratulations on taking the victory over Splyce 3-1. How do you feel?

I felt that all the teams that made it into the quarterfinals were strong. Although people considered them to be a weak team, I didn’t think that they were, so we didn’t underestimate them at all.

It was a series where Splyce proved their worth. How did you feel about the series overall?

Both of our teams had a lot of time to prepare, so we couldn’t predict what cards they have prepared. Therefore, we focused our preparation in not making mistakes.

You've had a good performance on Quinn today. What made you take Phase Rush on Quinn?

I win the match up vs Renekton anyways, so the rune was just to raise my chances of survival.

What did you think about the enemy’s Ornn?

It’s not like we didn’t expect Ornn, but something felt a bit off when the enemy locked it in. Even still, I’m glad that we’ve won today.

How do you predict the DAMWON vs G2 series will go?

I’m really rooting for LCK. It has been a while since LCK won the championship, so I hope that LCK will win the tournament and take back the throne.
