Auto Chess now is a standalone category on Twitch

Auto Chess streamers rejoice: those who want their viewers to know that they're live playing Dota Auto Chess, and not Dota 2 itself, can select the mod as a streaming category on Twitch starting today. No longer will there be a need to include 'Auto Chess' capitalized to ensure followers know what's up.

It wasn't as much of a question if, but rather when the streaming platform would accomodate to the ever-growing number of players. Within two months time Drodo Studio's creation went up from 4 million to 6 million installations, showing growth many developers can only dream of.

Even though Auto Chess' dedicated category has only been live for a couple of hours, it is already steadily climbing to the top 10 of most-watched Twitch viewers at the time of writing this article. Given the circumstances, it wouldn't be surprising at all if Auto Chess breaches the top 10 soon - if not the top 5 eventually. And we're not even talking about the handful of streamers who weren't aware of the new category yet. Drodo Studio recently partnered up with mobile game developer Dragonest, meaning that there'll be more resources available to improve the game.
