Team Atlantis Kicks off Atlantis Scrims Discord Channel for Pro Fortnite Practice with a $1,000 Prize Pool

VILNIUS, LITHUANIA - JANUARY 14TH, 2019 - Team Atlantis, the top European Fortnite team, today officially announced that they’ve acquired “Raz’s Scrims” Discord channel, rebranding it to “Atlantis Scrims”, and launched their first competitive ranked Fortnite community league with a 14-day Challenge giving away a $1,000 Prize Pool. Atlantis Scrims channel currently has almost 20k daily active users and over 90k registered users thus making it the most active competitive Fortnite practice destination in the world.

“It’s an honor to take on a key role in the competitive Fortnite scrims scene as both our players and our community are eager to get better, and we’ve developed a professional platform to encourage that,” said Laurynas Brovka, CEO at Team Atlantis, “Our ranking system and the leaderboard helps players understand how well they are doing and we’ll be looking for sponsors to provide more monetary incentives to encourage the top-level competitive play.”

While Team Atlantis is running the technical part of the channel and the ranking system, it is not an exclusive Team Atlantis practice environment and all competitive players, whether associated with other teams or not, are more than welcome to join the channel for practice and the top 1,000 solo players and 1,000 duo teams that participate in the qualifiers will get a chance to battle in the weekend finals and compete for the prize.

Saturdays (16:00-22:00 CET) - Solo Finals ($250 prize pool/day)

Sundays (16:00-22:00 CET) - Duo Finals ($250 prize pool/day)
