Netmarble has launched Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE, its action role-playing game (RPG) based on the hit Korean webtoon, on PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X|S. It went live on November 3rd (PST).
According to a release, the game is on sale now through the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store. Netmarble set the console date in late October; the game first launched on Steam and Xbox PC in November 2025. A new console launch trailer came out alongside the news.
Two editions are on offer. The Standard Edition costs $39.99, while the Deluxe Edition is $44.99. That extra $5 buys a Sung Jinwoo-exclusive costume and a Cha Hae-In emoji set, plus ‘a selection of additional items’ (the release does not list them).
What is Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE?
The game adapts Solo Leveling, a webtoon (a Korean-style digital comic, usually read by scrolling on a phone). It follows Hunter Sung Jinwoo. He starts out weak; by the end he is the world's strongest hunter, the ‘Ultimate Monarch of Shadows.’ Netmarble calls the game ‘an original take’ on the story.
Combat is the focus. Players can team up for boss fights in four-player co-operative (co-op) raids, while skills and playstyles can be built around Sung Jinwoo's Monarch abilities. More is on the game's official website.
Netmarble was founded in Korea in 2000. It is the parent company of Kabam, SpinX Games and Jam City, plus a major shareholder in HYBE and NCSOFT. Its games include Solo Leveling:ARISE, Seven Knights Re:BIRTH and Raven2, along with MARVEL Future Fight and The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross.
