Seoul-based tabletop studio CardMonster has opened a Kickstarter pre-launch page for PUBG: Final Circle, a trick-taking battle royale card game for two to five players based on KRAFTON's PUBG IP.

According to a release, the game was playable at SPIEL Essen 2026 in Germany from October 22nd to 25th. No campaign start date, funding goal or price has been shared yet. Fans can click ‘Notify me on launch’ on the pre-launch page to get an alert when the campaign goes live. CardMonster first teased the Kickstarter earlier this month, alongside a teaser trailer.

How PUBG: Final Circle plays

Each player gets a character with a unique ability. A new battleground is revealed every round; players draw cards to loot weapons and items, then turn them on the other survivors at the table. The last one standing wins. The release promises a ‘chicken dinner’, a nod to the victory message in PUBG itself.

Fights use trick-taking, a mechanic found in classic card games such as Hearts or Bridge: one player leads a card, and everyone else must follow with the same color if they can. Here the choice cuts both ways. Higher-numbered cards win more often but deal less damage, while harder-hitting cards are tougher to win with, the release says.

Players without a matching color can still hit back with a counter-color card. Matching the number of an earlier card can set off an Ambush (instant damage, with no wait for the fight to end). The winner of each fight then picks another survivor to attack. Defenders can lean on scavenged gear and character abilities.

CardMonster is a game studio and publisher based in Seoul. It works with IP owners and development partners to turn familiar worlds into tabletop games. Its website also lists Stitch's Big Splash!, a board game.
