Ubisoft has revealed a PS5-exclusive bonus for 'Rayman Legends Retold,' which is scheduled for release on December 3. PS5 players will receive an 'Astro Bot'-themed suit for free starting on launch day. This is a PS5-exclusive perk unavailable on other platforms.
Obtaining the suit is straightforward. It will be granted immediately upon visiting 'Victor Velour's' costume shop in the game for the first time. No separate purchase or pre-order requirements were mentioned.
This collaboration stems from a connection between the two titles. Rayman previously appeared as a VIP Bot in Team Asobi's 3D platformer 'Astro Bot.' Having made a cameo in the award-winning 'Astro Bot,' Rayman is now donning an Astro Bot costume in return.
Along with revealing the suit, Ubisoft also showcased a trailer. The video features Rayman in the Astro Bot suit alongside platforming gameplay revamped with current-gen graphics. The previously released recommended PC specifications also drew attention for being set high, targeting 4K at 60 fps.
'Rayman Legends Retold' is a remake that rebuilds the original 'Rayman Legends' for current-gen platforms. Ubisoft is positioning this title as a fresh starting point to restart the Rayman franchise. Delayed from its original schedule, it will launch on December 3 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
