Gravity Game Vision (GGV), the Hong Kong branch of Gravity, officially launched its new idle retro pixel RPG Ragnarok: GO in 11 Southeast Asian regions on October 29.
Service began at 11:00 AM KST, with target regions including Thailand and Singapore. The game is available for download and play on Google Play and the Apple App Store, with APK files also provided on the official website.
To celebrate the launch, events offer up to 4,000 free draws and login rewards. Logging in daily for 7 days grants growth items such as 'Star Stone', 'Diamond', and 'Dead Branch', while 10 consecutive days of attendance awards a 'Weapon Draw Coin'.
A '14-Day Growth Plan' event has also been organized, allowing players to complete progression goals over 14 days. Rewards for growth missions include 'Weapon Draw Coins' and various items, while accumulated event points can be exchanged for a limited-edition costume.
Based on the Ragnarok IP, Ragnarok: GO inherits the world and sentiment of the original Ragnarok Online. It features simple controls, a rapid growth system, and supports offline progression alongside idle character development.
Built upon Norse mythology, the game world is realized through classic 2D pixel art. While faithful to the original game's characters and monsters, combat is enhanced with vivid skill effects, punchier hit feedback, and dynamic boss battle presentations.
Jin-hwan Kim, President of Gravity Game Vision, stated, “Ragnarok: GO combines the unique retro charm of Ragnarok with the convenience of an idle RPG, designed for anyone to enjoy easily and casually.” He added, “We expect to deliver a familiar yet fresh Ragnarok experience to players in Southeast Asia. We have prepared various events and abundant rewards to mark the official launch, so we ask for your interest and participation.”
