Nexon applied a Halloween update to its online FPS game Sudden Attack on October 29. The "Folk Village" battlefield will operate under the "Hometown of Legends" theme until November 12, featuring an event to raise a mercenary up to level 10 alongside a new character for Tsuki from the group Billlie.
In the Halloween battlefield, players earn rewards by gathering kill records. Until November 12, "Halloween Coins" will be awarded based on cumulative kills logged in "Folk Village" and "3rd Supply Base - Halloween," and additional coins can be obtained through weekly challenge quests. Exchangeable items include the "NA-94(IS) Black Castle," "BombTechKit II Coffin," "500 SP," and more. Coins can also be used to enter for a chance to obtain new items such as the "Candy Basket Bag" and "Art Bomb - Bat Swarm."
The new event "Reversal Mercenary Bread" will also run until November 12. Players grow the mercenary "Bread" using enhancement tickets gathered through daily missions or by spending the in-game currency "SP." Additional enhancement tickets are given for PC Cafe missions, and "Boosters" that assist enhancement can also be utilized. Buffs apply starting from Level 1, with benefits increasing as higher levels are reached. Reward boxes based on the highest level achieved during the event period can be claimed after the event ends until November 19.
The new Tsuki characters consist of two sets, "Chic Tsuki" and "Bloody Tsuki," which can be obtained from "Multi-Counts." Players who accumulate 300 days or more of the character from Multi-Counts by November 12 will receive a "Tsuki Permanent Selection Ticket." For every additional 300 days accumulated thereafter, players can choose between a "Tsuki Permanent Selection Ticket" or a "Prime Skeleton & Pumpkin Witch Character," and accumulating an additional 600 days grants an "[S] Tsuki Guaranteed Ticket."
Among the recipients of the "[S] Tsuki Guaranteed Ticket," 100 players selected by raffle will receive a signed mousepad and a Sudden Attack hand warmer power bank. During the same period, players who activate the Character of the Month set for 7 days or more will receive a "Permanent Seal," "2 Character Free Tickets," and the animated title "BOO!(A)." Entry tickets obtained from Multi-Counts can be used to exchange for or try for a chance to win items such as a "Tsuki Mousepad" and "DRT-6(MG) Ripple Permanent."
Events for PC Cafe users are divided by operating period. "Spooky PC Cafe" awards items such as "PPS(S) Pumpkin Head Permanent" and "XM68(IS) Pumpkin Head Permanent" based on cumulative login time until November 12. The "November PC Cafe Pass" runs until December 3 and is activated upon logging in at a PC Cafe. Collecting "PC Cafe Pass Tickets" through daily missions based on login time and match play counts to level up yields rewards including a "Permanent Seal" and "PC Cafe Unique SP Special Box."
Players who also hold the "Sudden Pass" receive additional rewards on the "PC Cafe BOOST" track, such as a "MyGun2 Jumping Kit Selection Ticket" and "3,000 SP." Usage benefits for MyGun2 series "Noble," "Royal," and "Nova" are also provided depending on the level achieved.
The "Sweet & Scary Halloween Chat Event," where players enter designated Halloween commemorative phrases in chat after logging in, runs for four days until November 1. Participants can earn various daily rewards. Further details regarding the update can be found on the official Sudden Attack website.
