Pokémon GO announced on the 29th that it will host an in-person event in South Korea at Time Villas Suwon on November 14 and 15 to commemorate 'Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global'. The event will run on both days from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Visitors can receive information about the event and how to participate in programs at the main booth set up in the 1st-floor Center Hall of Time Villas Suwon. On-site, various missions and giveaway events will take place, alongside hands-on programs designed for Trainers to enjoy the game together and interact.
A space for taking commemorative photos will also be operated. A large Pikachu balloon and photo zones will be set up at the venue so visitors can capture memories with fellow Trainers.
'Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global', which this in-person event commemorates, is an in-game event in which Trainers around the world can participate. This year's theme focuses on Steel-type and Dragon-type Pokémon.
In the game, Gigantamax Duraludon will appear in 6-star Max Battles. Dynamax Dialga and Dynamax Palkia can also be encountered in Max Battles, while various Pokémon including Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will appear in Raid Battles.
In-game bonuses will be provided to all Trainers, and players can attempt to catch wild mighty Pokémon using GO Safari Balls. Details regarding the on-site event and in-game event will be provided on the official blog.
