Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed the Prism Collection, a new lineup of PS5 accessories featuring a transparent design.
Sony announced the translucent Prism Collection via the official PlayStation Blog. The collection consists of DualSense wireless controllers and PS5 console covers, launching in three colors: Flare Orange, Emerald Green, and Graphite Gray.
The defining feature of the Prism Collection is its see-through transparent design. Sony explained that the collection was designed to showcase the styling and internal hardware of the PS5 and DualSense controllers. All three colors feature a glossy finish, and the translucent material offers a glimpse into the controller's internal structure.
Flare Orange features a vibrant orange base with a subtle rosy hue where translucent layers overlap. Emerald Green delivers a deep, rich green, while Graphite Gray expresses a cool-toned gray.

Designer Leo Cardoso from Sony explained, "We know how much our fans have been looking forward to the return of transparent controllers. We wanted to bring back the iconic see-through trend of the late '90s in a fresh, modern way that complements the PS5's design."
Co-designer Satoshi Aoyagi added, "The high-gloss clear finish extends across the back of the controller, allowing players to see the technology inside. We applied a metallic finish to the controller's center cover to highlight the contrast between different materials."

The Prism Collection will launch on February 4, 2027, with pre-orders opening on November 10 local time. Pricing is set at $84.99 USD / 12,480 yen for the DualSense wireless controller, and $74.99 USD / 9,980 yen for the PS5 console cover.
The DualSense wireless controller will be released globally. The PS5 console cover will be sold exclusively through official PlayStation direct channels, while in other regions it will be available in limited quantities through designated retailers.
Exact release dates and availability may vary by country and region. Whether the collection will release in South Korea, along with its local schedule and domestic pricing, has not yet been disclosed.
