Netmarble announced on October 28 that it has added new Teammate '[4th Corps Commander] Po Bidau Lyborick Khun' to Tower of God: New World. Two new Ignition Weapons were introduced, and rewards for three types of Season Passes were revamped.
Developed by Netmarble N2, collectible anime RPG Tower of God: New World is holding the first rerun Advent Summon for '[Family Head] Yirang Yeon' alongside this update. The summon period runs until November 11. In the original webtoon, 'Yirang Yeon' is the Family Head who leads the Yeon Family among the 10 Great Families, and in the game, she appears as a Green-element Mage who inflicts Burn damage and blocks enemy HP recovery.
New Teammate '[4th Corps Commander] Po Bidau Lyborick Khun' was designed as a ranged damage dealer. His basic attack, enhanced by a passive skill, paralyzes enemies and inflicts debuffs such as reducing Blue element resistance rate. When using his Special Move, he becomes invincible and throws a lightning spear to deal damage proportional to maximum HP to enemies within range. In the original webtoon, he is a cold-hearted character who rose to Corps Commander through strategy and spear technique without his family's influence.
Events celebrating the update include 'Po Bidau Lyborick Khun Summon' and 'TapTap Plus'. Participation rewards include 'Black Market Tickets' and new Teammate '[4th Corps Commander] Po Bidau Lyborick Khun'. The new Ignition Weapons are 'Asura' and 'Caprinel', and costumes for 'Hugo' and 'Albelda' are also returning. The Season Pass revamp increases the obtainable rewards.
The original Story Event 'Endorsi and the October Illusion' is also re-running until November 11. Returning for October, this story follows Endorsi, who is invited to a ball searching for a bride for a prince. Players can exchange currency collected from stages for items such as Ha Yuri's 'World of Ashes' costume, Rachel's 'Purple Kiss' costume, 'SSR Tower's Blessing Limit Break Stone', and 'Revolution Fragments'.
'Pumpkin Chests' given as check-in rewards can also be obtained additionally through Adventure Clear Missions. The chests contain items such as 'Black Market Tickets', 'Suspendium', 'Radiant Revolution Fragments', 'Master Keys', and 'Essence of the Three Colors'.
Tower of God: New World is a game based on Tower of God, currently serialized on NAVER WEBTOON. It is designed for players to enjoy the original story like an anime while collecting and growing characters. Detailed information regarding the update can be found on the official website and official forum.
