Global game commerce company Xsolla has unveiled its new 'AI Toolkit.' It is a collection of agent skills that encode correct Xsolla API integration paths directly into the AI coding tools developers already use, enabling accurate integrations on the very first AI-assisted attempt. Thanks to this, developers can build a headless web shop in a short amount of time.
The AI Toolkit transforms how developers integrate game commerce. Headless web shops allow publishers to rely on Xsolla technology for payments, catalogs, and player login while building and operating the front end directly, offering high customization flexibility. As AI coding assistants become core tools in game development, common limitations have also emerged. While AI generates syntactically correct code, it often fails to account for platform-specific integration constraints, frequently producing results that cannot be used directly in production environments.
In commerce systems in particular, these limitations often lead to live service errors, outages, and prolonged debugging that consumes sprint capacity. The Xsolla AI Toolkit eliminates the "translation layer" between API documentation and AI-generated code by embedding validated, production-ready integration logic directly into the tools developers use daily. It is currently available as a SKILL.md file in a public GitHub repository (xsolla/xsolla-ai-kit) and can be installed as a plugin from AI tool marketplaces including Claude Code, Cursor (coming soon), GitHub Copilot, and Codex CLI. This Toolkit covers login, payments, catalog, and merchant setup.
The Toolkit is comprised of four core skills required to build a fully functional web shop, with each skill providing a completely validated integration path.

Each skill includes built-in validation features that test not just individual API calls, but confirm that the entire integration functions properly in a production environment. This allows developers to verify stability under real-world conditions prior to service deployment. The benefits are clearly reflected in integration speed. Whereas reading documentation and debugging AI-generated code previously took weeks, developers can now complete setup in hours by following the guide, significantly reducing errors and rework. In addition, because each skill is maintained directly by the team behind the corresponding API, it stays constantly up to date with changes to Xsolla services. Installation is also simple: developers can install the plugin in supported AI coding environments and apply the skills directly to existing projects without additional configuration.
