Kosmo's12 announced on the 14th that its story-driven 2.5D turn-based collectible RPG 'Dynamite Blue' will launch globally on September 30.
'Dynamite Blue' is set in Beerhaven, a futuristic cyberpunk city where 'Jagear'—a technology that replaces body parts with machinery—has become widespread. Players take on the role of head of 'Dynamite Blue', a small agency in the Midground, starting with minor requests and tracking down a case that shakes the entire city.
The game features around 60 characters. Each character's backstory and relationships are explored through individual narratives called 'Pocket Story'.
Combat features a six-element matchup system utilizing strengths and weaknesses, alongside a Guardian Stone Break mechanic to break enemy vulnerabilities. It also features BP, a shared combat resource accumulated and used by the entire team.
The global version will simultaneously launch on September 30 across the Apple App Store, Google Play, Steam, and STOVE. In South Korea, the game has been in service via ONE Store since July 1, and the global version incorporates live operational experience and player feedback.
The game supports nine languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, and Thai. The development team is incorporating bug reports and improvement suggestions received on their official Discord into live updates.
Kosmo's12 is a new game development studio formed by core developers of 'Exos Heroes'. More details regarding the release can be found on the official 'Dynamite Blue' website.
